OptoJump

We employ the state-of-the-art analysis tool: OptoJump.

OptoJump is an optical measurement system consisting of a transmitting and receiving bar. The data collected from the patient allows the software to analyze performance and to form the basis for a personalized rehabilitation plan.

The body has an innate ability to heal and correct itself. This same "normalizing" ability is seen in the world of biomechanics. By using an OptoGait meter system, you can measure your body's ability to correct its gait asymmetries. OptoGait systems precisely measure all parameters of the gait cycle with left and right differentials noted. By varying the speeds, you can define which speed produces the most effective biomechanical walk--the speed of walking that maximally reduces gait asymmetry. Gait analysis is used to assess, plan, and treat individuals with conditions affecting their ability to walk. It is also commonly used in sports to help athletes run more efficiently and to identify posture-related or movement-related problems in people with injuries.
